if...

...a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, then how many is it worth if it's in your soffit?

IT HAS BEEN CHIRPING EVERY 1.5 SECONDS FOR THE LAST 6 HOURS.
(and yes, I timed it...  "one-one thousand, two...")

we're learning how to flip...

Jane is such a talker!
She loves to just babble away.

One morning we were all snuggling together on our bed,
and I hear her say in a dainty little voice,
"<cough, cough> huz--bund."

My brain was trying to process what it had just heard when Caleb asks,
"Did she just say 'husband'?!?"

NO JOKE.

Well, she doesn't say anything even semi-coherent here, but it's still pretty darn cute.

And here we show the ingenuity of desperate parents.

Play gym meet Bumbo!

Now when her chubby little fingers drop her toys, they no longer fall out of reach.  Instead they conveniently dangle right in front of her.  And if you have a toy that you like, but it isn't part of the play gym, just grab some ugly white yarn and tie it on to the other toys!

GEN-IOUS!

Ok, you be the judge (or judges, depending on how many people actually read this blog...)

She may or may not be sitting...

(We think she is, but we don't want to be those kind of parents,
so we're willing to adjust said thinking.)

In case you were wondering, "What does this post have to do with flipping?", these videos were taken with our new Flip Video Camera.  I thought I'd do a little play on words.  I guess that was just me trying (and likely failing) to be amusing.
